Abandoned Farmhouse

Nuns Cross Farm is all that remains of a once prosperous farm and was last inhabited in the 1950’s. I decided to head out to the farm for dawn but the fog hampered visibility making it very difficult to find the farmhouse, however, it also added to the atmosphere enhancing the desolate and remote feel. I needed to cover the lens between shots as the fog was thick with water. Having captured an image I liked I tried a shortcut back to the car but was quickly lost on the moor and could only refind the car by following a compass bearing across the featureless moor until I reached the road.
