Although you would normally plan an image before setting off you often need to remain flexible as conditions may mean a change of plan. On this evening I had planned a side lit shot with trees as a focal point on the horizon but the wheat crop in the subject field was coarser and less attractive than in previous years. I therefore headed back over the ridge and decided to go for a shot towards the sunset with lead in lines provided by the oxe-eye daisies in the beetle banks.
