Black Darter

I was hoping to find several Black Darters roosting in the low heather as the afternoon temperature cooled and the dragonflies slowed down. However it soon became clear that Black Darters move into the trees at dusk and finding them was very difficult. Thankfully, I eventually found this male and managed a few shots before he too left for the nearby trees.
