Kimmeridge Bay

From previous visits I knew that my favourite ledge at Kimmeridge looked great when the tide was between 1.3m and 1.7m. Any lower than this and the composition would be too full of dark rocks and any higher and the ledge disappears. The other thing to worry about is if the weather is bad (low pressure) then water levels can be higher than forecast. On this day I timed a 121 shoot to arrive at just the right time and everything worked out as planned and a lovely textured sky also developed.
