Channel in the Ice

After a heavy fall of snow I headed to Beaulieu Road to look for compositions incorporating the setting sun and a wooden walkway which is usually flooded and so I knew could be surrounded by interesting patterns in the ice. I wasn’t disappointed and quickly found a beautiful long and curved channel of melting ice which was exaggerated with a low viewpoint and led the eye perfectly to the sunset in the distance.
