Durdle Door

Some soft pastel early morning light at Durdle Door. I was hoping for a shot of the sun rising through the arch, which is possible in December and January, although the bank of cloud at the horizon wasn’t helping. I played around with the shutter speed and settled on 1/3 second which is slightly faster than I normally go for which demonstrates how fast the waves drag back on this beach.
