For harsh midday lighting a visit to the coast to shoot simple graphic compositions with long exposures is often a good idea. For this shot of Godrevy Lighthouse I added a Lee Super Stopper to get my shutter speed out to 4 minutes and I felt a conversion to black and white suited the image.
