Golden Chapman’s

Reference: DO40
Location: Chapman's Pool
Gallery: Dorset,

Chapman’s Pool is a slightly remote rough-cut cove on the Dorset Jurassic Coast. Like Lulworth Cove it is something of a work in progress with the sea eroding its way inland and outwards to form a horseshoe-shaped indentation in the coastline. Although not the near-complete enclosure of Lulworth Cove it does have a raw untouched quality. I used the dry stone wall to lead the eye through the sweep of the bay to Houns-tout cliff and Egmont Point in the distance.
