Hatchet Pond

With light winds forecast I headed to Hatchet Pond for sunset. While the sun was still above the horizon I adjusted my position so that the sun was partly obscured by the trees and I stopped down to f22 to enhance the starburst effect. A clear patch at the horizon with cloud above looked promising for spectacular colours after sunset, they didn’t materialise but I was delighted with the earlier starburst shot.
