I normally finish my Landscape Photography Taster Sessions in late September but with some cancellations due to bad weather I ended up running some in November and I also put on a few in the afternoon. A 1:30pm start for these would mean we would finish at around sunset and so a few of the group hung around at the end to join me for the best of the light. Filling the foreground with water brightens and simplifies the image and reflects any colour in the sky and by shooting very low at the waters edge there were fewer ripples which also helped provide a tranquil feel. The soft wave also provided a lovely lead in.
