7:30am on a February morning at the Watch House at Lepe. I love the way the light is catching the edge of the boardwalk. I knew that a shot after sunrise at this time of year would require some cloud in order to hold back the sun and so I waited for a suitable forecast. In the 1800s after years of smuggling in the area, the Watch House was built housing the Preventative Officers and their boat and the building remains largely unchanged today.
