Gallery: Hampshire,
With sunset being 9:30pm the ferry had long since finished for the evening and so I made the 25 minute walk along the shingle bank from Keyhaven to Hurst. The spit stretches out into the Solent and ends up being less than a mile from the Isle of Wight. In recent years there has been a good population of Glanville Fritillaries here. My aim was to get some decent shots of the Lighthouse. This composition was from the bottom of a low bank so that Agrimony and Ox-eye daisy featured prominently in the foreground.
