Next up on the Orchid target list is the amazing Lizard Orchid. As there was a site in Somerset I planned to combine it with a visit to see a friend in Gloucestershire. We managed to find a good number of these very rare Orchids on a golf course. In fact two of the best sites in the country are on golf courses. This was my 32nd British Orchid. There’s still just over 20 left but they’re getting harder and many will require long trips north in 2016.
