Another hazy sunset where a starburst can help add interest to an otherwise featureless sky. This was 17 minutes before sunset and so the sun is still fairly strong. I bracketed 5 exposures 1-stop apart to blend later in lightroom but, again, in the end preferred the single shot with a graduated filter. To help deal with flare issues I took a second shot at the same shutter speed but with my thumb over the sun and then blended the two shots together later. With coastal images of this type it’s important to make sure that your lens or filter is free of sea spray as lens flare can ruin the image.
