Lulworth & Stairhole
Reference: DO108
Location: Dorset
Gallery: Dorset,
I checked out this easterly looking viewpoint at sunset although the direction of the sun wasn’t an issue as it was a stormy cloudy day. There was enough texture in the cloud to get some brushstrokes with a long exposure of 25 seconds. It was violently windy and this is a very exposed viewpoint and so I pressed down hard on my tripod to keep things as secure as possible. The cove at the back is Lulworth and the nearer sections of water made white by the stormy conditions are Stairhole, you can see the twisted striations which make up the Lulworth Crumple. I will definitely return here at dawn.
