Man Orchid

My next Orchid target was Man Orchid with a trip to Surrey being required. Having arrived at Box Hill reserve I managed to track down a warden from Surrey Wildlife Trust who gave me directions to a nearby reserve. An hour later I found these lovely subtle Orchids. The little flowers really do look like men with oversized heads. I waited for clouds to cover the sun and then photographed them low down with a long lens.
