Portland Bill

A trip down to Portland Bill. The last time I was here the wind was strong at 15mph+ and from the west so shooting this view of Pulpit Rock which is on the west side of Portland Bill, was very tricky. Keeping the filters clear of sea spray was almost impossible and we had to venture up higher with longer lenses. It was much calmer on this visit and I was able to use my new Nikon 14-24mm lens for the first time. The shutter speed was 1.6 seconds for my favourite shot and I particularly like the scale and atmosphere that the two standing girls give to the image.
