Purple Hairstreak

Seeing the upper wings of a Purple Hairstreak is not easy and as they were held in a shallow ‘V’ I used a small aperture to achieve sharp wing tips. The background was sufficiently far away to remain blurred even at f16. The small aperture meant a slow shutter speed, 1/100 sec, which is much slower than I’d like normally and I dont like to go beyond ISO 800. I took enough images to get a few sharp ones.
