Rockford Frost

This was the second weekend running that I had stood at the top of this New Forest track in the darkness 30 minutes before sunrise. Last weekend the sun had been blocked out by 100% cloud cover and I returned home disappointed. This weekend there had been some of the mist that I was looking for but it had quickly disappeared. The bonus today was the icing from the frost and although some clouds would have been better a clear sky allowed warm side lighting which lifted the subtle delicate browns.
