St Hubert’s Church

My third visit this week to the ‘little church in a field’. I was keen to catch it surrounded by the striking yellow of oil seed rape. The two previous evenings there had been no break from overcast skies but this evening the skies were clearer. There were 5 photographers when I arrived but with storm clouds approaching they packed up and left the best of the light just for me. In this shot the church stands in full sunshine but with menacing clouds building up behind and shortly after this shot I was caught in a storm of hailstones.
