Sun-kissed Rockford

One of my favourite places in the New Forest and although the forecast was for clear skies I decided to head to Rockford as there was the chance of mist. Unfortunately, just as on the last 2 occasions I’ve tried here, there was some lingering mist in the valley but by the time I had got to the top of the hill it had disappeared. Thankfully, however, the side lighting was gorgeously rich and, just in time, some welcome clouds drifted into position.
