Barton on Sea

Situated at the eastern end of Christchurch Bay, Barton on Sea has views over the Solent and the western end of the Isle of Wight and the Needles, with views to Hurst Castle to the east and Christchurch and Hengistbury Head in the west. While the sun was still strong and fairly high in the sky I looked east towards Lymington and the Isle of Wight. I found a composition with a prominent rock and with the last remnants of warm light bathing the rocks and the cliffs in the background.
