Tyne Helleborine

Individual orchids looking like Narrow-lipped Helleborine or Dune Helleborine are very difficult to separate and apart from sampling DNA identification is often based on its location and habitat (rather than a miunte analysis of subtle details). There is another form, the Tyne Helleborine, which is likely to become another separate species and so while we were driving through the Tyne Valley we stopped at Williamston to take a look.
