Outdoor Photography Magazine commissioned me to write a short piece to go with my photograph of the Dunes at Studland in Dorset. The image and write up appeared in their viewpoint series in the February 2014 edition of the magazine.

My 2014 calendar "Hampshire and Dorset" has now sold out so thank you to everyone who purchased one. I'll start preparing the next one in June 2014.

Decided to purchase my own A2 9-colour printer so that I can achieve greater control over my print outputs. Looking forward to getting to grips with it and also using it with Lightroom soft proofing.

Have given into temptation and purchased Nikon’s D800 full frame 36 megapixel camera. As a result I’ve also had to upgrade my PC to deal with the single image 50mb files and I’m now using Lightroom for processing (highly recommended). Next purchase may be an A2 printer so that I can prepare my own prints for exhibitions and markets.

I am pleased to add an Online Diary to the website. I hope adding some accompanying text to my field trips will add some colour and interest and give the reader a feel for the ups and downs of Landscape and Macro Photography.

My photograph of ‘Golden Downs’ from Cheesefoot Head, Winchester has been selected as the front cover for the 2013 Hampshire the County Magazine Calendar. My image of ‘Millennium Beacon’ is also featured within the calendar in September.
