Have given into temptation and purchased Nikon’s D800 full frame 36 megapixel camera. As a result I’ve also had to upgrade my PC to deal with the single image 50mb files and I’m now using Lightroom for processing (highly recommended). Next purchase may be an A2 printer so that I can prepare my own prints for exhibitions and markets.

I am pleased to add an Online Diary to the website. I hope adding some accompanying text to my field trips will add some colour and interest and give the reader a feel for the ups and downs of Landscape and Macro Photography.

My photograph of ‘Golden Downs’ from Cheesefoot Head, Winchester has been selected as the front cover for the 2013 Hampshire the County Magazine Calendar. My image of ‘Millennium Beacon’ is also featured within the calendar in September.

My photograph of Lepe’s Millenium Beacon is to feature in the 2013 calendar produced by ‘Hampshire’ the county magazine and in an addition it will be reproduced in the magazine in the month in which it appears in the calendar.

I’ll be setting up my next exhibition tomorrow, at Hanger Farm Arts Centre in Totton, Southampton. Dates are 6th November to 30th November. I’ll be exhibiting around 25-30 landscape images taken in the South and South West of England. Feel free to drop by and have a look and if you’re after a Christmas present idea then as well as the framed prints there will also be Calendars, Greetings Cards and Mounted Prints available for sale.

Over the last few months my website has been rebuilt and updated by Brian Coult of Etheya. It now incorporates the latest technologies for searching and viewing images quickly. All of the pictures can be purchased in a variety of sizes and calendars, greetings cards and workshops are also available.
