Gallery: Devon
Devon is distinguished as the only county in England to have two separate coastlines (northern and southern) and like Cornwall they are rugged and wild with stunning sandy bays and hidden coves. The inland terrain of Devon is broadly rural and hilly and includes the rugged and windswept Dartmoor, the largest open space in southern England and covered with wide moorland and dotted with photogenic granite tors.
